Yes, that put me off buying one too even though it is quite a keen price.
A few months ago it would have been unthinkable to get a TFT for under a hundred, now look at what is happening to the prices! So I think I'll wait a while longer and as it's only for a spare machine, maybe I'll even get a 17" TFT for it at a really stonking price :D

    I'm still waiting for a 17" with max 16ms (pref 12ms) for around £100 ;)

Don't reckon we'll have to wait too much longer now :D

    Slightly off topic.
What is the best thing to clean a TFT screen with?
  • Microfibre cloth, 99p from Tesco. Also excellent for plasma screens :)

Something else to watch out for on Aria - a while ago they were selling 17" TFTs as "specials" but also selling the same model on their main site - at a CHEAPER price than the special one! So always worth checking to see if they've made any mistakes before ordering.:)

I m glad others have had good experiences with Aria as mine have been awful. Bought a MP3 player. faulty, sent it back, 5 weeks ago, still no refund despite constant phoning. (they don't reply to emails, or at least it takes them a week.) At first, when the one I received was faulty, I though oh well, its just a one off. bought another - faulty. Needless to say standing out of 2 lots of money now and getting nowhere FAST. Better luck with your TFTs.

I really like the Dell 15 inch. I am using one right now. I understand a lot of people prefer a 17 inch but for me a 15 inch fits in better - I don't want my computer screen to dominate the whole room!
