Hi guys,
Our Direct Line Policy is due for renewal. We got the confirmation through of next years cost.
£287.00 :eek:
No, let's get this checked out.
Straight onto moneysupermarket, got it down to just over £200.00.
So, I thought, just for the craic, let's see what happens if I log on as a new customer to Direct Line.
£187.00 :beer:
So I called them up to find out what was going on. The staff had just been told of the 900 job losses as a result of the demerger from RBS.
I had a very good conversation with their call centre guy, who immediately dropped the original £287 quote, straight down to £203.00.
