    Morning again all!

Just finished painting the hall skirting, lounge door and door frame, so sick of paint, I only have the deep window sill (about 3 ft deep!) to do then I'm finished!

Seriously, I know it's not MSE but the next lot of decorating that needs doing, I am doing NONE of it, I will get a decorator and hopefully never have to hold a paintbrush in my hand ever again!!!

Are the roses cut or in plant form? If it is a plant then they may have finished their flowering season but if you have any plant food ( I use tomato food for mine and they love it:):):)) you could try standing the plant in a container with a weak mixture for an hour or two. Won't work straight away but may give them a new lease of life in a week or two. If however they are cut supermarket flowers are notorious for not being looked after properly but you could try changing the water, adding a DROP of bleach and a little bit of suger, which is apparently an old trick that was given to me. hth - back to catching up.

Cut flowers in a vase with some (value:D) lemonade. It makes them last much longer HTH

  • Morning All.

Mainly working and trying to do a bit of lurking today.

I've given up trying to catch up from last night. I had about 20 pages left to read on the old and the new one was already at 15!

Hope everyone has a good day.
  • Morning all :)

Got my apg back from last night with my 3 Lake District cheese for just over £9, which is what I was aiming for, don't really want any more over £10. Thinking about going for some Coke later as well, just need to get my numbers correct first!

First stop is T's though to check out the toys though and see if there's anything there that interests me. Don't have many to buy toys but would like to see if there's anything I could put away for DD's Christmas :)
Going to get a couple of the pizza deals as well, thanks to JumbleJack for the pics this morning :T

Right must get my butt off of here and get moving!

The way I see it is that the point of being MSE is not to stack up lots of money and count it by candlelight in fingerless gloves - it's to maximise your money to it's best potential and give you the life you want. So if saving money in one direction enables you to pay for a decorator, thereby making you happier - that's true MSE. :)
