When I joined this thread the elite maxed everything out without batting an eyelid, that was the spirit of the thread, why it was born and I think how it should live.....

Although it is only halfway through the number of posts needed to make a new thread, can I suggest that it might be a good idea to have this one closed and start a new one now - a fresh start with the brilliant 'no more arguments, live and let live' attitude I have been reading about this morning.

I nominate Henlans, just to show there are no hard feelings

Ok - am just back - forgot my list so was totally screwed when I went in - so thought - id do a poo shop ! NO PURPLE GEL ! This is what i've always got so instead thought I'd give the conditioner a go as it was fully stocked ( not a good sign ) - anyway rang all items through self service - only for the flaming conditioner to ask for a price prompt - its gone through on receipt as conditioner and 24p - but im guessing this has ruined my trigger?

    Any ideas?

I've been using the 24p Conditioner as my 'trigger' all the time!

Does anyone have any ideas for alternative uses for the flippin' 14p scourers......I seem to have *cough* rather a lot of them?!
I have around 40 in the shed as they will last for ages in plastic. I give them away to the neighbours and also to the food bank. Sometimes people not only need food but help cleaning and washing. I my local Dads charity I give away most if not all of the SP stuff I get and lots of the cereal and custard/jelly.

Agree entirely. I respect (but don't agree with) your viewpoints and enjoyed the conversation. :D

And I respect you for that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That would make searching through all the products that are on much harder. I'm sure everyone is grown up enough to just have a ' change of attitude new start' without having to have a new topic ...and therefore search through everything twice. :)

fwiw, I agree. And I think there are some valuable lessons learned in this thread that have a positive vibe for going forward.

which supermarket is the speckled hen offer in please?

It is one of the 4 for £5 offers in Ts at them moment like the Newcastle Brown. And it is 2 for £3 in As. Sorry can't remember who but someone posted that the multibuy did not get taken into account on APG for the NB, I wondered if maybe it wouldn't for the SH.

Though last week the Strawberry Rekorderling cider was reported as not taking into account the multibuy but when I tried it did. Then later in the week someone else bought the mixed berry flavour and it didn't take the multibuy into account. So the alcohol ones seem to be a bit hit and miss. HTHs

I'm preparing my lists for an A shop tomorrow :j Think i recall someone (Rooted nomad?) saying mon/tues can be swap over day for prices on MyS and A so I'll hang on. Plus I'm not in a rush to go out just yet. Tough night with Polly Tigercub so I've only had 4 hours sleep  (2 sets of 2 hours) but will nap this afternoon.

Skinandblister - sorry to hear about your little doggy, that's sad news :(
Gemnjam - good luck today, hope your appt gets things moving. I can vouch that doing an A shop is great at starting contractions and labour ;):rotfl:
