    Morning everyone,

Sunny down south again, hoping to get the last of the sleeping bags washed and dried and put away again for next year.

Thanks to my coupon fairy I have printed out beanz voucher, I am such a novice, first one came out filling the whole page with half of it missing and to think years ago I used to train people to do word processing.

No car today so no As until later maybe. Would appreciate a confirmation of coke working today. I want to try Hobgoblin or Speckled Hen as that is on the same offer as the Newsastle Brown that someone got for around 83p bottle, would be a good if that works the same. Don't suppose you would like to give it a go Henlans? ;)

3 dogs, sorry you are having a hard time, tramadol is good stuff, I was on it for 6 months when I had my 1st prolapsed disc..
If it affects you too much, there is a modified slow release version :)

Hope you feel better soon, :A

I was considering going back onto paracetamol anyone know where I can buy cheap one's at the moment :rotfl: :rotfl: and see how I go, but might see my doc and ask about these, so thanks for that info Elle :D
I just wanted to bid you all a fond farwell.
MSE was a lifeline for me, but after the slaughtering last night and the continuasion today, I can't take it anymore. My MH nurse will be here shortly and hopefully she can sort me out or they can section me, either way when you spend the nigh self harming because of a thrad on the internet you have to admit that it really isn't worth it. So thanks and goodbye.

Wishing you all the best Cosmic-dust and I hope that you get the treatment you so desparately need

Could everyone just take a moment to remember that, when 'talking' to people on the internet as we do here, we are not able to know their state of mind or what they may be going through. A statement made in jest or a rebuke could just set them over the edge. I know some will say that if they are that delicate they should not be on here posting, but they would probably respond, if they could, saying that posting on threads such as this are their only lifeline and the 'virtual' friends are the only friends that they trust

I am not saying is stop the banter by any means, but perhaps just be aware of what I have said when jumping to conclusions or personally attacking people. I stand by the support I gave to Redfox who was only doing their unpaid job, but have great sympathy for Cosmic-dust too. All I am saying is hold off the personal insults please guys, please :(

As for people leaving the thread, all I can say is .... don't :(:(

This thread is only what we make it and if you leave because some are 'abusing the system' in your opinion, or due to the argument, then the thread is then dominated by those people and it becomes the norm and others, particularly newbies, with think that is acceptable. Each to their own in how to deal with this glitch in particular though, but I prefer the under the radar approach ;)

Changing the subject and moving on, I was up at 8.30am and feeling much better today, so will be going to do my A$da shops later, after I call at a friend's house to photograph a car he has for sale and needs photos to pass around but he doesn't have a printer

Fairclaire - so good to hear of your OH's progress :D

Jamsponge - so sorry to hear that more dolphins are being slaughtered :(

Right, off I go - back laters :D

    Back later guys

Hello there..... Been Asda this morning, got button mushrooms marked 65p went through full price so £2 giftcard. The CS lady was very rude, last time I had bit of a argument with her about issuing gift cards. I complained to ho who sent me letter re have give gift card. I think they had a memo but still tried get out it by throwing my change and reciept at me then turning her back on me to answer the phone. After someone asked me if they could help, she swung round said she was just about to do my giftcard..... Yeah right.....

Every Little Helps ..... Have nice day...l

A couple of weeks ago there was a a wee old man ahead of me at CS who got overcharged on something by £1. He took his £1 overcharge, very slowly put it in his wallet, even more slowly put it in his jacket, put away his glasses, folded up his newspaper and put it under his arm, picked up his cane, started walking away very slowly, CS said to me "can I help", I said "yes, you can give him his £2 giftcard" they replied "i was just about to do that".:eek:

Obiously this was not an A's I regularly hit or else I wouldn't have been so blunt. I just couldn't believe they would try it on like that. For a minute there I thought I was in T's !

So sorry to hear of your loss Skin :( I lost my black lab, Nelson age 13, in may and there is still a dog shaped hole in my life.

I do agree that it might help your daughter to see chicken, let her say goodbye. My son,8, said goodbye as did I, and found it helpful.

I'm not wanting to start up a debate or cause aggro, I just wanted to say that different things help different people. We don't know what others are going through outside of this thread or what helps them or what doesn't.

And if people feel they want to post here about leaving then why shouldn't they? Why should they be made to feel bad for doing so? Yes it sometimes may seem like they are seeking attention (not referring to anyone in particular) but they may be in desperate need of that attention for all we know. Or it may just be how they are, they feel they need to say something.
Oh yes, absolutely. Of course some are more sensitive than others, thank goodness :) It is all shades, colours and varieties and differences that make the whole such a diverse and wonderful thing. Being sensitive is not a detriment and folk who sense things keenly have needs that should be respected - think this is what is being missed atm. If someone is upset enough to want to leave, we don't close the door beind them and wave goodbye. Instead we open it wider and then wider still and try and make the place inside more comfortable for them if we can That way hopefully they will be happy to return when they are ready :)

Both excellent posts :T :T Thank you Magicowen and Rooted Nomad :D

  • Ok - am just back - forgot my list so was totally screwed when I went in - so thought - id do a poo shop ! NO PURPLE GEL ! This is what i've always got so instead thought I'd give the conditioner a go as it was fully stocked ( not a good sign ) - anyway rang all items through self service - only for the flaming conditioner to ask for a price prompt - its gone through on receipt as conditioner and 24p - but im guessing this has ruined my trigger?

    Any ideas?

Although it is only halfway through the number of posts needed to make a new thread, can I suggest that it might be a good idea to have this one closed and start a new one now - a fresh start with the brilliant 'no more arguments, live and let live' attitude I have been reading about this morning.
