Here here. I miss work so much. Even having someone to talk to. I really hate it that people are judged so harshly.
I miss adult company too that is why you find me waffling on in here in the morning sometimes.
Life does not always go the way people plan, I had intentions of going back to work when DD3 went to secondary school but my mum became ill before then so it has not happened. There is no way I could hold down a job between looking after her with numerous hospital appointments, rushing round at the drop of a hat if she needs me etc. Some of you already know but I have no siblings to share the load with. So it is all down to me.
Glitching and bargain hunting can be fitted in around her needs but no employer would be happy with that so yes in a way it is my job at the moment but one I thorougly enjoy.0 -
2 x Diet Coke (8x330ml) £5.00 £0.94
3 x Coca Cola (8x330ml) £7.50 £4.79
1 x Diet Coke Cherry (8x330ml) £2.50 £0.47
2 x Coca Cola Cherry (8x330ml) £5.00 £0.94
Ambrosia cream rice included.
Do not expect the supermarkets to just lay down and take it.
If you have an odd number of ambrosia, you have to have an odd number of cokes.:cool:0 -
Trolleyboy wrote: »I have used an apg voucher for around £9 which was accepted but had to be authorised by an operator. I wondering if it was say £20 whether to system would allow this amount. This has happened to me is Toscos where the till said the maximum coupon value had been exceeded (used a £15 dtd voucher) and the shopping then had to be transferred to a manned till. This doesn't help when wanting to stay under the radar!
at tescos when dtd was about u had to get the ss person to to input manually as it wouldnt let anything over 9.99.
i remember it was fiddly but i had it to a t when dtd was on but cant remember what they had to do0 -
Vits compare with sainsbob, if you want to compare with T's don't get the garlic get effervescent Vit C tabs...see my earlier posts re vits:D
DAMMMMMM. Did my lists so carefully too but put vits on wrong side of trolley so went into the v T pile.

Nice and Easy SB1 thrilled at this one as has been only one I have used for years.
Also pleased with the Aussie hi hold spray and didn't notice it on anyone elses lists.
APG higher than I would prefer but have not had any trouble with a single one so far but will use this on a big shop.

I would like to say congrats on your pending grandadhood - as you yourself became a dad at 17 you wud know its not the end of the world and can be a wonderful thing - my mother was 17 when she had her first child and is the most fun young hip granny my kids and her other grandkids could ask for. In my opinion it means you get longer to enjoy being with your kids/ grandkids - im under 30 and have only got toddlers so haven't experienced myself but wish you and your family all the best
This made my laugh.. when my 17 year old got stuck in a swing when she was visiting family about 70 miles from us.

it hit the news.. I sent a photo and she was in the paper too.. but they removed that now lol.0 -
My kid was playing with his car and it hit the tv.. made a claim the tv was worth maybe £200 and they gave me £1000 for it. paid £200 excess.
well lucky you but like i said i dont have insurance i couldnt afford it if if i had wanted it and it took me a long time to get my tv for myself so probably wont have one this side of christmas at the earliest so sitting here just staring at the wall for the next few months at the least but like i said... Lukcy you.You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in
God created men first, cause you always makes a rough draft before a masterpiece!0 -
I posted about this yesterday, one of mine didn't compare, mine was diet.........someone said it was about < 6 cokes, someone else said you need a second trigger, not sure but only one of mine came back full price but think its about the calculation, not the glitch ending. hth
Again if you have an odd number of ambrosia you need an odd number of cokes, if you buy 2 ambrosia, you need an even number of cokes.0 -

P.S. I did try a shop to see if I could get the Johnsons bedtime bath cheaper but it didn't workQuestion for all the baby experts oh and I keep forgetting congrats to Tigerwhite, Jaggyman & Happynumbers on the safe arrival of your babies.
I bought some Johnson's the other day as I'm partial to a baby bath etc, I got Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath (Purple bottle) & Johnson's Baby Bedtime Wash (Purple bottle) if you read the instructions on the back they both sound like Baby Bath but the ingredients are different, so what is the difference between Baby Bath & Baby Wash ?
I don't think there is a difference between the two... I do know the purple bottles have lavender or something in to encourage relaxation but apart from that, not sure.Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0 -
Blimey it's hard work keeping up when you have a house full of people!
Me and my mum have just had our hair done and my dad and brother popped round too
Shame my bro didn't have the balls to go to asda for me
This makes 2 full days in a row I haven't been to asda
When I can go, sometimes I cba. When I can't, it's all I want to do!
Hopefully it will still be working tomorrow
