So if I were to buy:
    1 carrot
    1 banana
    1 onion
    1 haribo
    1 toothpate
As fillers to get to 8 comparables

1 of 1 Smart price conditioner, Smart price hairgel, Asda Extra Firm hair gel or Alberto Balsam conditioner
    3x head and shoulders
    3x Aussie Miracle

Would this work vs Mr T?
    I think....

    Right that's cleaning list sorted
Now what can i throw in please to force it to compare with W :)

I just used normal fillers or mine tangfastics, mice, giant button, doesn't matter if they compare to W's only the cleaning products need to compare, ur fillers just need to 'qualify'. When I did my shop yesterday the only items that compared were the cleaners. The fillers were all N/A

I'm sure this explains it all but I am a little hard of thinking today and still don't get it. :(

I need at least 8 comparable items?
I need to buy certain cheap items and then other items will be compared against a(wrong) much lower price?
Do I have to select a different cheap item depending on which expensive items I am trying to get cheaply?
There is something about multiples that I don't understand at all?

Where should I start reading to have it explained? Thanks

You need to buy 1 smart price
then the other comparable shampoos/conditioner in quantities of 2,5,8 etc - this figure plus your one smartprice must always be divisible by 3

Most of us go for about 10 different items altogether in case it decides that it doesn't want to compare something. Saves getting shafted :)

  • I was severally scrutinised earlier in ASDA, they took my receipt, saying this cant be possible with that spend and we have had a lot of fraudulent APG's and inputted it on there computer, and up came the price guarantee, they then went through each item and said this cant be right, they phoned the price guarantee people and they confirmed that it was an error on there part, but hey are aware about it and it would soon be brought to a stop. This was regarding the shampoo glitch. i said it was an invasion of my privacy looking at the items i had previously purchased, but didnt say much after that. in the end they honoured my price guarantee saying 'this cant continue'. Anyway, off to ASDA again in a minute!
