Thanks for the new thread Locarr.....It would be lovely if this one could revert back to normality and not be invaded by people constantly asking inane questions and posts deliberately designed to provoke arguments.
If I could make a suggestion....would the more prolific/dedicated/hardened or whatever else you'd like to call them APG'rs amongst us not like their own dedicated non chat thread? ......and especially if they intend to have links or bookmarks to their own pages on here.
Most of us oldies on this thread are perfectly able to work the glitches out for ourselves and prefer to chat/post silly jokes etc. which we haven't been able to do due to the huge influx of new or prolific posters, some of whom will fit in very nicely with the banter and gossip, but also others who are only here for any information they can glean.
Nothing wrong with that, but I don't in all honesty think this is the right place for them...they would be far more suited to a less friendly and yes, in some parts cliquey thread.....as many have already pointed out to us!!
This is a chat thread, which is why we are in the forgotten section, but so many regulars have disappeared because it's nigh on impossible to keep up with anything due to the huge number of posts...all about ASDA APG's
Not wanting to start any arguments, but just think it's sad that the last thread was such a divided one, and now Locarr has started a new one, it's an ideal time for things to return to how they should be on here.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

You always have to have at least 8 comparable items for As. So basically 8 different barcodes showing on your receipt, but you're probably better making you have a bit extra just to be sure.
  • Oh, and I forgot to mention that I got the pizza deal yesterday in T's (who?;))
Don't buy the Dulche De Leche Haagen Dazs. It does not compare. But it tastes sooooooo good.

I would like to say that as a newbie, I have always felt welcome. I don't get to post as much as I would like but I have never felt that I couldn't join in. I try my best to contribute as best I can and always research a glitch by reading back about the experiences of others on here so that I don't have to ask questions all the time. I try try to thank people when they have helped me, although again, maybe not as much as I should.

This thread has made such a difference to me and my family which means that we can get some nice things (like lovely shampoos) that we couldn't normally afford and I am greatful for everyone that contribute.

I can confirm the wine is still working as of 4pm today and don't buy the tinned SP potatoes as they do not show up on the receipt and can mess your number of comparable items up.

P.S - Can't wait to hear whether Tiger has had her cub yet!

Now thats strange because I've had them in every shop since the glitch began and they've always worked:eek:Got another 4 tins tonight so hope they don't mess up my APG:cool:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
