  • Managed to spend my first apg today! They said they are aware of it (of course!) and trying to fix it! Our asda was untouched earlier this week but when I went this evening it looked raided!! Hehe!
  • Thought I would update you all with my second trip to A's. Different lot of staff on, so thought I would chance it. Picked up some stuff and went to SS. I hate going to manned for some reason. Young fella puts through my smaller apg (just over £10) and so I then say to him I have a larger voucher for the next shop..will it be ok? because earlier today they wanted to check the one I had and it took 15 minutes and I did not have time to hang around tonight.
He was really nice and said to just call him over, well silly me I scanned the coupon and waited for him, but over came a young girl and she said she had to get it checked  off she runs whilst I try to say that the other SA said it would be ok and didn't have time etc..but off she went, she came running back as she needed the receipt that went with it..lol..I then said to her to cancel the whole shop and that I would shop elsewhere, where I do not have to wait for each voucher to be checked. Good job I did throw my toys out of the pram, as I did not want any of the staff to notice my £19 spend that gave me a £23 voucher and I only picked up 2 cheese, with 1 dairylea..so I would have mucked that up anyway, as I forgot I would need 3 cheese. Think I will be laying low for a while and hopefully visit a different store. Gutted I still haven't got any cheese though. Oh well.

So if you buy 1 you lose 47p on your apg if 2 you'll gain 3p

Huge thanks for this - its light going on in your brain :)

    Thanks for the new thread!

Think it should have had Adsa in the title rather than Tosca!

It does, in a round about way!!:D:D

  • Happy new thread, thanks Locarr.

Well, long day at work today and couldn't get to try the glitches spoken about last night/ this morning until 6.30pm, but I am glad we have managed to work out a great glitch which became honed as the day went on!

    Well done Elite!!

I hoped to get some cheese as I am out of that, but the A near where I work has neither variety :(. Got 4 lots of coke though, then when my apg comes at 9.30, I will be very tempted to go out to a different one to get some Lake District as that's one of my favourites. So glad that works!

I tried the diet cherry coke as I'm not too keen on the plain diet coke, and have since read it works. I am a happy bunny. I'll post my list once my apg comes through, but I don't think there's anything new or special to report.

    It's only a game

  • Hi, just catching up and i'm guessing i've missed quite a bit because i saw this -

I can honestly say that nikki along with the rest of the people on this thread and it's previous maifestations have been nothing but welcoming to everyone including me.
I only joined this fantastic bunch of people about a year ago when I was at my lowest, they not only welcomed me but made me feel quite at home. I have got to know them, we've ranted together, cried together, celebrated birthdays, weddings and new babies and maybe differed on things a few times but that's just like any family and family is the best way to describe the people on this thread.

    :smileyhea

I think the problems arise when people just bounce on and demand the info without a please or thank you, common courtesy costs nothing but means a lot. Also usually what they're looking for has been mentioned a few posts above their question or on the very front page of the thread, it only takes minutes to search.

Sorry for going on but this annoyed me a bit :o

I would like to say that as a newbie, I have always felt welcome. I don't get to post as much as I would like but I have never felt that I couldn't join in. I try my best to contribute as best I can and always research a glitch by reading back about the experiences of others on here so that I don't have to ask questions all the time. I try try to thank people when they have helped me, although again, maybe not as much as I should.

This thread has made such a difference to me and my family which means that we can get some nice things (like lovely shampoos) that we couldn't normally afford and I am greatful for everyone that contribute.

I can confirm the wine is still working as of 4pm today and don't buy the tinned SP potatoes as they do not show up on the receipt and can mess your number of comparable items up.

P.S - Can't wait to hear whether Tiger has had her cub yet!
