Just to add that Topcashback gives a 5% uplift on payouts in the form of Amazon vouchers. Might be worth keeping in mind when you decide which one you want.0

why waste £ on a kindle? just download kindle for free from amazon onto a laptop/tablet/smartphone and read books from there
Well from my perspective....I don't want to lug a laptop around to read a book, a smartphone is too small to be practical and a tablet has the issues or screen glare, it was basically unusable on holiday when in the sun. They can be useful when I just want to read a few pages but nothing more than that. There is also the minor issue of weight. I have an iPad also and did use that for a while but found it quite heavy to hold after 1/2 hour or so. Can't comment on other eReaders but using both Kindle + Kindle apps on PC / Laptop / Phone / iPad it will sync the book to where you last read on the other device so you never have to find where you were up to on the different devices (this assumes internet 3G connection though.0 -

It was quite funny on the beach in Spain this summer - I was reading on hubby's kindle in bright sunlight absolutely fine - people with iPads were moving them all over the place trying to shade them from the sun cos they couldn't see the screens plus they looked ridiculously big to hold safely. I have a 7" samsung tab and have the Kindle reading app on it which is great until you try to read outside.0
