Has anyone used Biospotix on their cat to get rid of fleas?

I would love to know if anyone has tried this on their cat and found it successful.
My cat is 18 now and I haven't used frontline on him since he got really ill after I applied it over a year ago (I had used it on him for years with no adverse reaction) we ended up at the emergency vet and I thought he would need to be put down as he was so sick. Anyway he made a full recovery but the vet was unable to establish if the Frontline caused the reaction and Im too scared to use it on him again.
After many flea free years I was horrified to find that he has got fleas as I found flea dirt in his fur last night, he has been out practically round the clock in the last few weeks as the weather has been so hot and he hangs around with various cats so I imagine he must have picked them up from one of his feline friends
Just googled natural flea treatment and Biospotix sounds like the kind of thing Im looking for - but Id really appreciate hearing from any cat owners who have tried it.
