im after some bed slats for my double bed as about 6 of them are broken. theyre individually held in with plastic housings to hold the ends in. they are approx 52mm width 675mm length and 8mm thick.
i read a thread on here (through google) now closed said you can get them from ikea but i cant find them on their website. anyone able to give me a link or a link to elsewhere?
£25 for 10 id need to cut down a bit is the cheapest i found. seems a bit much for a couple of bits of wood! thats excluding delivery. ebay is not much use especially at £6 each with delivery.

take an unbroken one out, take it to your local independant DIY guy and they will cut you some new ones to length - probably about £2-3 each.
Quick advert for Sid Telfers in Milton Keynes, as they are great and I have used them for nearly 20 years for just this sort of thing
And support your local independent of teh big chains!! 0 -
theyre sprung and curved though not straight0

but they aren't just a couple of pieces of wood, as you point out they are sprung & curved, so £25 isn't too bad if you compair it with the price of a new bed.I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
maybe but im a bargain hunter if i cant find any ill cough up but id rather wait a bit see if theres any cheaper.
