1998 Toyota Corrolla No Electrics!
1998 Toyota Corrolla No electrics. New battery and replaced alternator. No indicators, radio, clock, rear lights, brake lights, heating and central locking. All fuses checked. Cables to battery have been checked and not been chewed by rats. Any ideas what can be the problem.? Car seems to start fine but nothing else. Its baffling. Please help. Sensible suggestions only please. Thank you.

There must be another (big) fuse or a fuseable link somewhere in the feed to the fuse box. Or a broken wire in the fusebox feed.
Are you handy with a multimeter? If so, I can advise further.0 -

Yes I did start a thread but have now done some more checks on the car so thought I would start a new thread.0 -

Yes I do have a multimeter. Is this is long winded job? Also do you know what colour relay covers the electrics?0 -
First check all the earth connections you can see. Unbolt them and make sure the metal is nice and shiny then reconnect them.
Then with your multimeter start by seeing whether you have 12v at the relevant fuses in the fuse box. If you do then you follow the circuits towards the affected items. If not, then follow upstream towards the battery.
As some of the things you mention are powered with the ignition off, and some with just the ignition on, I wouldn't initially be looking at a relay being faulty.0 -

So "All fuses checked. Cables to battery have been checked and not been chewed by rats."
Still the same issue. Get a Haynes manual or take it to a garage or someone whom knows what they are doing. Spamming the forum won't get it working.0 -

pot calling kettle black, do you have anything constructive in the way of advice or did you just wish to have a dig OP for making a new thread?
OP, i would look at the ground wires in and around the fuse box's first (one in engine bay one under dash). then multi-meter the wire going from inernal fuse box to engine bay fusebox then onto the wires in the engine bay.0 -

!!!!!!. It's obvious the OP it not knowledgeable in this area, so I did give constructive advise, read my post. Making multiple posts about the same issue won't make it better.0 -
