Dual sim card adaptor does not work

Bought a dual sim card adaptor from Hong Kong. Received item very promptly but it does not work as the back of my phone will not fit in. It appears that the twin sim holder are too thick. I have e-mailed the seller but have not heard anything, I would give it another few days. Shall I ask for a charge back through paypal or tell the seller I want my money back? If the seller asks for the item back, does tht mean I will have to pay for the postage myself and wonder whether it will be worth it. Thanks

Did the listing state that it was suitable for your particular phone model?

I had a similar situation. The seller asked for it to be sent back, and only if after testing it he found it didn't work would he give the money back; if he deemed the item to be working, then he would not give the money back or send the item back. Hence I went through with the chargeback via PayPal and got my money back!

Really your advice is to do a chargeback through paypal. Should I tell the seller what I am doing? I feel pretty bad about this, the item was well packed and sent promptly. I have tested it and it worked but the back cover of the phone will not fit and sometimes it works and sometimes not. It did say it will fit a Nokia 3100 and it costs me £6. Please which one did you buy and from which seller? Thanks

Forgot to ask when you do chargeback you have to send the item at your expense, wonder whether it will be worth the hassle. Thanks

when i had a dual sim card holder for a nokia mobile a few years ago, it came with a replacement back/battery cover as the original back/battery cover would not have fit

yes, if you do a paypal dispute, you will have to pay to return it and you will need to send it by a trackable method so you can prove seller received it which will be either £3.50 for international signed for or £4.20 for airsure on top of the standard airmail price. so its probably not worth it to be honest.
