Being flippant

Hi to all the posters on this forum, I know i have not posted my soa up and stuff like that and you might look at my posts and think why am i here. I dont want anyone to get the wrong impression. My debts are because i split from my hubby, And as i said in my thread smashed needs a hug. Debt and relationships go hand in hand most of the time. So please if anyone thinks i am being flippant about things i am not. And i apologise to anyone who thinks i am. Sometimes we all need to just get away from the everyday stuff and be lighthearted about things. Its an escape. And i apolgise if any of my posts offend anyone. Noone has actually said anything to me but i thought i would pre empt anything. Thank you all for being there. xxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh Smashed, don't go worrying about what people think. I've not posted my SOA either and all my debts are due to divorce, no child maintenance for 11 months, having to cut my hours due to being a single parent etc etc.
Big hugs to you x0 -
Humour is all part of the healing process. Becoming debt free does not have to be a purgatory - a trial by ordeal. In fact you are more likely to fail if it is.
I try alway to see the bright, light, and humourous side to everything.
But I can understand your concerns. People have had a go at me for my sense of humour. But if it has made one person laugh, and their day just that touch lighter - then it was worth it."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Posting an SOA is NOT a pre-requisite to being able to post on this forum - many of the more experienced posters have never posted their SOA.
Posting an SOA simply makes it easier not only for others to grasp your situation and offer you the best advice, but also for you to keep track of things.
That said, everyone is welcome to post their debt problems on this board - as Martin says - 'There is no such thing as a silly question'.
You are most welcome.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

My debts are due to 2 ex husbands, and more recently an ex fiance who actually stole money from me both before and after we split up! I know how you feel cos my moods go up and down, and I think we all tend to post as we are feeling on the day, so it can get a little confusing sometimes, but we are all here to support each other whatever the background, so take heart, and here's a hug for Smashed ***HUG***0
