Insurance Excess

Hi i need some advise,

I have an insurance excess of £200, and i have had to make a claim.

During the processing of the claim i received a letter stating that my excess would be £0.00 on this claim.

The insurance company are saying that they will not honour what the letter states as it was a system error, how do i stand on taking this further?
and in fact they have already taken the £200 excess?

Surely if I have it in writing they should honour it?

Thanks Tammy

Perry is the excess listed as £200 on your schedule?

No, they just made a mistake. If the letter had said £400 would you insist they honoured it?

The letter is irrelevant, what it says on your policy schedule is what matters, like the previous poster said, if the letter said £400 would you be willing to pay it?
All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.
