    Hi Silky,

Try emailing the seller, ask them why they left neutral feedback when you paid so quick. if they are selling lots of items they may have their customers mixed up! Feedback can be mutually withdrawn.

    Good luck!

    Made a mistake
    Don't know what they're doing
    or

it goes a little deeper than that

    300085435402

that is the number of the item i won. i payed straight away but the cost of postage was inflated and this person told me he inflates his costs to pay for ebay fees which is against ebay rules.

i have put a thread up before about this inflated item and do not wish to discuss it again, there are lots of different views about postage costs.

i feel his reply is sour grapes and would just like to add that i payed immediatley

  • Have you read his reply to his neg feedback from around 28/29th March...maybe he should try reading/watching some of his own books/DVD's!

Why did you leave a neutral? You saw the P+P costs before you bid, if you didn't like them you shouldn't have bid.

I'm surprised he din't neg you.

£1.99 + £3.99 P&P = £5.98. Surely you decided that this was a reasonable cost when you bought it.

    1) It's obvious that sending a couple of books isn't going to cost £3.99 to send so you should already know that the P&P is inflated.
    2) Seller could charge £1 for postage but his buy it now price would increase to reflect this (i.e. £4.98) so total price still the same but higher fees.

Why do so many people think they've been ripped off when they've been 'overcharged' on the postage costs but seem to ignore the fact that the price before P&P is really low????

Did you really expect to get the books for £2.99 (£1.99 + £1)??? Come on, be reasonable

personally i would have negged you.

You knew the postage beforehand, and agreed to it. you really are very naive if you really expect the postage to be £4 for two small books.
  • He has 4 stars ("reasonable" rating) for p&p, so evidently most customers find it acceptable. Since you were honest about your reason for neutral feedback, the seller ought to have done the same.

I would have done too. People like silkyuk9 should be banned from Ebay.
