Pet Business?
Beaney1
Hi i am starting up a pet business making dog beds, coats and bandanas and also dog birthday cakes and treats all home made. I have sorted my business insurance etc out but i am trying to find out information on regulations on baking the treats etc can anyone point me in the right direction. Have spoken to a few people but they are not sure.
Its regualtions for UK (not sure if they change for different areas?)
I have done some research myself and i know about putting ingredients on label and the order etc but i dont know how you go about getting the % of protein etc and does this need to be on the labels (i would imagine it does) if this is the case where do you send the treats to get this information?
Many Thanks

As an adoring owner of 3 cats and feeling a sense of calm around the animal kingdom, I'm starting to think whether to have my own business as a pet/catsitter here in London. Only thing is I'd still be working full time at my job and this would really be, (not only my passion) a second income.
But I wonder whether its possible to make anything from it and if anyone here has done or does it for a living and if its rewarding?
At my work there are two fellow cat owners whom i could reach out to but only as freebie as I don't think my compliance department would allow it as they are in bank I work.
Plus if I get a second income I need to get approval from my compliance side here first! So much red tape!!!0 -
Oops, apologies! I thought I placed new thread :S0

Run a search, there have been threads or parts of threads on this. You would need first aid training, to run a car and have insurance. Petsitting in someone's home is either a full time job or at least several lengthy visits a day, otherwise the pet would get more contact time in a decent cattery/ kennels.
Have you thought about volunteering for a pet charity? They are often crying out for people to play with, clean and feed the animals.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
