This extract from yesterday's motoring section in the Telegraph is worthy of wider distribution !

The BBC reported that a Norfolk farmer had erected a bird box by the roadside - and it looks like a speed camera. The local safety camera partnership deplored the action because it could cause accidents if drivers braked sharply to avoid being snapped. So it is official: speed cameras can cause accidents."
