Yeah it was tongue in cheek, I'm just sitting here in the office at 18:10 on a friday night wondering why I spent all that time studying for the last 15 years. Don't come into this industry.

phew, glad to hear it...well, that it was tongue in cheek, not that your on a low wage for all that effort.

Ok, here we go with a couple of suggestions:-

    1. Kitchen assistant. Qualifications required - hygiene certificate. Has potential to be self-employed if you open your own cake shop.

    2. International Football Coach - requires UEFA coaching Badges. Limited self-employment, so probably not the best option for you OP.

    3. Chief Exec of International Dow Jones listed IT company (e.g something of the size/delivery agenda of Apple). You'd have to start it up yourself if you want to be the CE. Qualification either in the production aspect of the company or an MBA should help.

You might find there are some other jobs in different fields, and at different levels.

Oh dear, doing your best impression of "How to Make Friends and Influence People" again? How many people do you have on that Ignore list?

Well... everyone else on this thread! For starters.

  • You're already well qualified for the role of Resident Tool on this forum.
  • [Teaching is a good example, a degree in teaching will get you a teaching job.

Not sure where you get the idea that teaching will get you a job, I qualified with a BA teaching degree in 2011 and not managed to find a job yet, I have a good degree (2:1) and graded as Outstanding. I am not alone either, just have a look on the TES website.

Sorry, but I think all careers are hard to get at the moment

That's probably good advice, but some people just don't really know where their skills lie, and their only passions aren't ever going to get them a job.

My passions are pretty girls, football, comedy, beer, money.
I don't know where my skills are. I'm not really sure I have any.

I could be sitting here in 10 years time trying to find out how to turn my skills (assuming I have any) and passions into a job, and still be none-the-wiser, which is why I, like the OP, am thinking about just taking ANY course which can lead to employment/career.

I saw a career adviser when I was unemployed and it didn't help at all. Still, I'm happy to answer any questions in case any of you want to help guide me out of the dead-end rut

See! Not easy, is it? :)

    Wrong, I'm not Bankrupt.

But thanks for taking the time and still not coming up with any suggestions.

    You certainly were!
Did you include smile in your BR?

In the past co-op have refused accounts to anyone who included them in their BR, but if the account was all settled before I can't see it being a problem.
