Usually when you call someone from a land line, the line stays open until you disconnect the call regardless of whether the other party has hung up or not. If you have online billing it may show in your unbilled calls, but this may take a few hours to show.0

Firstly just to say that I'm sorry this happened to you. It's easily done but a real pain in the backside.
If the line was active then you stand to be charged. How much you will be charged depends on your tariff. You could always ask your phone company for lenience but they would be well within their rights to charge you.
Do you get an itemised bill and how frequently? It might worth pre-empting the bill and giving your company a call in advance. It's always easier to handle these things when a bill hasn't been issued.0 -
actually just found it , she never actually answered the mobile it is down as a missed call on there, she hasnt got voicemail on it so surely the call would have just ended0

If it is a hardware glitch and the call log timer on the phone kept going after the call ended then it won't show up on your bill. Unfortunately you won't know for sure until you check your bill or contact your phone company.
Edited to add: Just seen your last post. Well fingers crossed for tomorrow. Hope it all goes well.0
