Question about stopping IS

Some I know has stopped her IS claim because her boyfriend has moved in with her and will be supporting her, she phoned up this morning and was told the claim would be closed down from today.

Her IS money is, or was, due in the bank tomorrow, will this still go in and if it does should she pay it back to the DWP? I think it will be ok to have it as the money is paid in arrears, but she is worried that she will get into trouble because the claim was closed today, I don't want to give her the wrong info so she gets in trouble so is she legally allowed to keep it should it go in or will she get into trouble?
not all on benefits are scroungers and don't need to be bullied!
