    Well done.
    How much does that save?

Its saving me about £4 a day i reckon. Needs to be done. Already feeling the benifits of having more energy, that could be not smoking or eating better aswell. Total change in lifestyle for me.

  • Very interesting post.. gonna subscribe if you don't mind. Seems like you are making some serious progress here - its inspiring! Well done on kicking the bad habits though.. that must have been / must still be tough....

Thanks. My aim when i came on the board was to show progress in getting down my debts. Although its now turning into a total lifestyle change for the better. I guess there are people in worse positions then me but i just saying how i am dealing with things etc.

Guess the point i want to make is that people hide debt away from friends and family etc and i dont want people to judge me on the debt i have. For me its about turning my life around and becoming the person who i know i can be and then i can hopefully go futher and offer other people advise on many of the issues i have had in my life and hopefully overcome.

Thanks again and i will carry on with the updates.

  • Please do keep us updated!!! :)

This forum is like an online 'confession' type thing!! Nobody in my day-to-day life really needs (nor prob wants!!) to know the ins and outs of my spending/saving habits, but yet it is good to have the help and support you sometimes need. And definitely this is not a judgemental forum! :)

  • Total paid off so far in last 6 weeks is 570.38

Just under 6% of total debt in 6 weeks paid.

Also just to inform i will be making £200 less payments this month as i have a wedding i cant miss due to close member of family. So gotta buy a suit, hotels etc.

Hope your all doing well on becoming debt free. Also i think i will be clearing 2 of my debts this month which will take it down to 26 left to pay.

Why is your income only £1803 when you are on £37k. There is 300 or 400 short. I earn about 35.5k and i get 2150 a month.

No. Its higher than that and it would not mean that you would take home less if you earned more.
