Sorry if this has been mentioned before, I've had a look but couldnt find it anywhere, so here goes:
Got this email yesterday:
Dear **************
Thank you for shopping with us.
I would like to let you know about an important change we are making to our online groceries service.
As you are probably aware, we have a standard delivery charge of £5. However, we waive your delivery fee if you book a delivery for a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, and spend over £70.
From 22 April this will change. We are no longer waiving delivery fees on orders delivered on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, when you spend over £70. These will now incur a delivery charge of £2.50. The standard charge will remain at £5, so you will still be receiving the service for half of the normal price.
I realise this may be disappointing to you, particularly if you have benefited from free delivery in the past. Unfortunately, with increasing costs to pick, pack and deliver to you, it is necessary to introduce this charge so that we can continue to provide you with the competitive, quality service you expect.
I hope you continue to enjoy the benefits of our service, and we look forward to serving you again soon.
Hmph, even more reason to use Tesco - I know they still charge a delivery charge but at least you can usually find at least a £5 discount code to cover it!
