Is buyer for real! Rant!

I listed a kids tough camera and matching case on a free listing sunday but never got round to adding a photo. I meant to do it but work got in the way. Anyway I thought no one would bid but they did and it sold. Fine no problem. I sent it and it had no marks on the screen that I could notice( and I sat there deleting old pics off) and I am being very honest about that. It had one small pen mark on a bit of the rubber.
It was posted in the case in a jiffy bag so not damaged on posting. Now the buyer has emailed saying it was not as described. It has several bad marks that detract from viewing the pictures on the screen. Also the case is not matching as it is a different brand(another kids camera brand). It is a pink case that the camera fits in perfectly as the other brand has the same camera IYSWIM.
I have asked the buyer to email a picture of these bad marks and sais that I did not state in the listing it was the same brand just a camera with matching case(which is a hard case which is probably better that the same brand case). It is like me selling a sony camera with a samsung case.
I just wanted to have a little rant as I don't think I'll bother selling on ebay anymore. They asked no questions before the auction ended and bidded on an item with no picture that is listed as good used condition(which it is) but it is a preschool camera that is used not brand new yet they seem to want to have a new item. What is wrong with some people:mad::mad::mad:

Yeah, I think I'd question whether a different brand case could be described as "matching" but if it fitted in fine and was in good condition and everything else ok about it, then I wouldn't complain. Assuming the case it would have had if it had matched is not significantly more expensive than the one you supplied?
It might also depend on how much I paid for it really. If you sold it for a fiver, that's a bit different from selling for a fraction off the retail price IYSWIM so could be a factor in the buyer's disappointment.
I'm not sure challenging her to demonstrate the scratches etc. will help much, beside get her back up at the work she has to do to prove she's in the right. She obviously feels she is, regardless of what you may say. Perhaps your best option here might be to politely say you're sorry it hasn't lived up to her expectation and that she can return it for a full refund. She will have to foot the costs of returning it though.
Then you can relist it with pictures and details which would put you in a much more secure place to challenge any issues raised after sale, and leave your potential buyers in no doubt what they are buying thus (hopefully) eliminate issues from arising in the first place.
I can't for the life of me imagine why anyone would buy something like this without seeing a picture of it first though."So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:0
