Me and my partner are 25 years old and are UK residents, i have been living abroad for 2 years and my partner has been living abroad for 4 years. We are about to move back to the UK, and have recently discovered iam pregnant. We both want to work and will do every thing we can to get jobs, We have arrangements to be lodgers in a house when we get home, because of the pregnancy this can only be temporary. We move back next week, We need help in knowing if we are entitled to any benefits or if there is some help we are entitled to.

You will need to pass the habitual residency test, assuming you are Eu citizens.
You have to show that your return to the Uk is permanent. A lot of people seem to fail this first time, so I would reccomend having some savings to tide you over.
You entitlements for support will increase once the baby is born.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
