well you could either request the solicitor (who will no doubt charge) to forward on information about parking spaces for neighbours, or as new neighgbours you could make the note a bit more personal, and maybe type, print and drop a note throughg your self. I personally would want to get it sorted, before you have to start stressing about it and it causes issues.

I'd start amicably and have a chat with them. Better to start soft and escalate if there is an issue, otherwise this might end up in a battle.

Well, if the spaces are legally yours and not communal, then I guess you could sell a space each to your neighbours (1.5 grand is fair). They may not like it, but you would be 3 grand better off, have shared liability for the spaces regarding drainage etc, everything will be clearly defined and on a possitive note for them a dedicated parking space will add value to their homes.

Be pleasant but firm at the start......request the vendor to notify the neighbours of the parking position before you move in as he is selling you the house PLUS the car parking spaces....so he should deal with it. If all else fails when you move in if you find you are not getting parked on your own property you could look into the legality of chaining or bollarding the spaces. Good Luck.
