If you open an internet account with Halifax for example, what shows on the internet statements.?
Your whole account history or just from when you started the internet banking?

You can usually see all the transactions for as far back as they make them available, usually 12 months.
Accepting internet banking doesn't change anything else about how your bank works, it just flicks a switch to allow you to access the data which is already there. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

Some banks allow access to several years of statements - e.g. Lloyds goes back to July 2002, Nationwide last 36 months etc. You should be able to find out the policy at other banks from their website, or by calling them.0
