well i just phones around half a dozen stores by me and none of them sell toys
a lady did recommend one in southport but they had very little stock left and never had any meccano.
Lets hope there are some more good toy sales before Christmas.0 -
Just back and picked up - Dora tea set £3.75, Disney Clock £3.25, Firesam Sam Playset £3.75, Fisher Price Bath Bar £3.25, Dora playset £2.50 (Free) and an ELC digger £4
All at Bedford Interchange and still quite a bit left, they have not updated their SELs so i asked a SA to price check and she was very helpful.0 -
thanks to the OP...just been to my local and managed to get a couple of bits for birthday presents....but the store had pretty much been lurkered and all the 'good' stuff was gone
a bit strange as no one lurkered this store whilst the bodysprays were giving the bonus 500 points!
Can any lurkers or posters confirm if its worth a trip into Notts city centre...dont want to pay for parking to find that the stores are stripped bare there as well!
thanks xhoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Hi
If anyone managed, at lunchtime, to go to the Oxford st one near Bond St. station please report if it is worth taking a trip later this evening.
Many thanks
Hi Yes they still have things left in there lots of baby bits, also have bed guards at £5.00 and cot quilt sets for just over £8.00 original over £40.000 -
Ah so you were the person that got there before and bought it all.:rotfl:
Seriously though there were some better than expected items left. Got some cuddly Gruffalo and Mouse toys, Hungry Caterpillar pull along and some Daisy Doodles.
:rotfl: It was half empty when I got there honest :rotfl: Glad you managed to get some stuff, nice to see someone local to me post on here:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -
went to northampton t.c , there were still a few bit lurking, but i was shocked as there was a couple there who filled about 7 or 8 giant ikea bags, they had stashed the bags behind the tills and were still buying more from the shelves, they bought absolutely loads, they had 2 women scanning it all through for them, bit cheeky ...i think i had seen them at the boots sale before buying the whole shop up, wonder what they do with it all?0

I went into chester this morning and got some bits-there was quite a bit left (no barbies though
- I have 2 girls who would have loved them!) Not everything went through as 342 though, ELC Projectors, a tiny love giraffe stacker, gruffalo shower gel all charged individually, still they were big savings and away for xmas and birthdays. Thanks again OP
