OP no need to post the same thread twice, if its more suited to another section then a board guide would be alerted to it and move it accordingly. Posting it twice you can end up with different answers, help/advice. The loan section is more than appropriate as its regarding a loan.

As i have already stated on the other thread u now have going regarding this they allow for early repayment and will calculate interest accordingly... ie u borrowed now for 5 days therefore ul pay 5 days interest ... approx £20-£30 .... and yes its a new loan which YOU initiated... therefore contact Payday Express advise you want to make payment in full TODAY and pay what u borrowed plus the 4/5days u have borrowed it for they will adjust the amount accordingly!! its not really that difficult and i dont understand all the fuss, by dragging it on and on u will only end up paying more in interest!!

They are requesting a payment of £945... that is more than £200 on top of the amount that was borrowed. They will not adjust the interest accordingly. I originally asked to Cancel my loan on the 3rd September (Unable to contact them on the Sunday) hense why I mentioned one days interest.
  • I don't see why anyone is bothering to help him considering his attitude towards everyone's answers!!

Just because everyone hasn't jumped on your bandwagon crusade against PDE doesn't make everyone wrong.

The T&C's are plain for everyone to see and PDE are well within their rights to hold you to them!!

Instead of spending your time on here with your bad attitude to people who are offering their advice, why don't you pick up the phone, ring PDE and sort it out like everyone has advised!!

Because they are requesting I pay the balance plus interest from the whole month

Assuming you mean for the whole month rather than from the whole month, are they? Are you sure? I doubt it personally. I think you will be charged interest only for the days that the amount was outstanding. They cannot charge interest on a 0 balance.
  • how rude! yes i read it all, however as per their t&cs which u posted they accept early repayment and will advise how much is due when u call to make repayment.. isnt really rocket science... however i obviously know nothing .... still cant see the fuss to be honest u did go through the borrowing process and were well aware at that time of fees etc had u left to run for the month therefore u will be liable for repayment.....

I am awaiting a reply from their customer care team. There is nobody helpful contactable by phone. It seems to be an ongoing trend that people are fairly rude on here, so I thought it'd be nice to dish it back :)

Bloody hell... you clearly haven't read it all.
The balance of £937.50 is currently due on 28th September 2012 however should you have any further queries on this matter please do not hesitate to call me on the number below. Alternatively you could respond to our Customer Care department via the email address above.
    Kind regards

I borrowed £735. They will not reduce the balance of £937. End of story. Believe it or not. If nobody's going to believe me, then delete the topic and i will **** off back to the CAG where people are more helpful.

to be fair no one but u was rude and that was only because u didnt receive answers that u wanted to hear.....have u called the payment team to make early repayment and asked how much the early repayment is??

    Early repayment
You have a right to repay the credit early at any time in full or partially. You should let us know that you want to repay early either orally (by telephoning us on 0800 0126 860) or in writing to us at Express Finance (Bromley) Ltd, 4th Floor Northside House, 69 Tweedy Road, Bromley, Kent, BR1 3WA and we will let you know how much you will have to repay
