Powerleague Mill Hill London Deposit

Powerleague, the five-a-side football company, have been messing me around for getting a £25 deposit back. I started off playing in their Sunday league at the end of 2003 and that league finished about March 2004. Since then I have yet to receive my deposit back. We didn't break any of their rules/miss any games yet they are still withholding the deposit.

The most frustrating thing is that only the "manager," can deal with it and they've always just popped out or are busy, so you leave a message and wait and wait and wait for them to get back to you. I don't know what else I can do.

Again this is my experience of the Mill Hill branch of Powerleague, maybe it's different elsewhere in the country.

So I was wondering if anyone had a contact email or address of phone number or even fax that I could use to get into contact with headoffice. Or any other advice would be gratefully appreciated in getting my money back. Thank you.

    Hi,

I too played in the Mill Hill Powerleague sunday night league and was also ripped off. They took our deposit and asked for another one the next season.

We never got it back and ahve since decided to drop out of the league.

    They just stole our money.

You could call trading standards possibly?

Thanks for your reply. So, I take it you didn't chase them up for your deposit? I think I'll try trading standards but it'd be great if there was a head office to contact.

Nope, we just gave up on them. We shouldve tried really but as we dropped out the league i doubt they would give us our money back anyway.
But good Luck and let me know how it goes.
