House rewire montly payments?

is it possible that you can get your house rewired and pay for teh costs monthly?


i just started some small bu major diy jobs and and found the electrics to be horrendous and very old, including the mains board which is still running off wired fuses rather than RCD.

i live in the fylde area if that helps

You'll be lucky, it will either cost you a fortune or be called a personal loan from the bank.

Only way that it may work is if you are able to get a loan to pay for the electrics and then pay that monthly.

yeah i was thinking that but i wasn't sure if any of the electric/gas firms did it as a service

If the electricity board offered that option then a 2k re wire would cost you 5k

it may be the way to go and i'll see if i can get a bank loan for it

which is a shame as i've just finished all my loan payments and i've never owned a credit card for years but we live month to month due to all the horrid price increases

and see if i did all the manual work running the cables in / chasing out made it cheaper
