AUction states sent via Special Delivery but sent via First Class recorded

As header, paid £9.99 for delivery which i though was fair as it was being sent special, it arrives first class recorded, after weighing the item i have paid £4.74 extra

This is the large banner on the auction

no_handling.jpg

At the bottom of the auction in it says first class recorded tho at the top it says standard delivery , i asked for a refund but they just replied saying it was sent correctly

I guess i have to chalk it up to experience but its annoying, does it deserve a NEG and low stars ?

Your feedback should reflect how you feel about the whole of the transaction. In the circumstances I would leave a neutral saying postage very high when listing says no fees for handling and packing. For the DSR stars I would give one star for post, and appropriate ones for other categories.

I'd leave a neutral and a 1* for postage, as there's nothing more annoying than the feeling you've been ripped off after a seller claiming to be honest!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • I would specifically add in the feedback that the listing implied Special delivery but buyers need to read the actual postage terms because that's not what they are getting.

Not sure if it's entirely the case that it's what they are doing, but you might even want to report them to ebay for artificially inflating postage to reduce ebay fees. ;)

The £9.99 seems to be their standard flat rate charge.
Looking at the feedback(not good) many others have commented on next day postage charged and not receiving for 4 days.

Also I would check what you have bought as others are commenting on grey imports/us versions and used items being received.

Certainly I would markdown postage stars, neg or neut would depend whether I was happy with item.
