Missing DLA payment.

My DLA has payment has not went in. My old award is still active and I am appealing my new award.

Will DLA hold the payment until the appeal is sorted? Have no idea why my current claim money is not appearing.

If a new decision on your DLA has been made then it supercedes any existing award and you will only be paid the new award.

If you retained either the care or mobility components, albeit reduced, then you will paid on these while appealing.

If you lost your award, you will not be paid anything while appealing.

On the assumption that the new award left you with something, how late is your payment?

If only a day, then the DWP often pay benefits early, so they can appear late when they are actually paid on the correct day.

My current claim runs up next month then my new claim takes over. Checked the dates on my award lettes. Losing the care part as of next month.

DLA ALWAYS for the past 3 years as went in at midnight, never late. Maybe I am just in panic mode. So dam stressed with putting this appeal together.

As above.. this is probably just an administrative detail rather than any underyling problem. Give it a few days perhaps unless you desperately need the money now. Good luck with the appeal... make sure you get hold of all the evidence they've used to take their decision so you can make your case with 'full knowledge of facts'.

There was an issue with the bank should be in tomorrow. Panic over!
