 What an infantile response !0

I'm intrgued by the 'interesting stories'!??
It's funny how on the one hand peolpe don't give enough info to identify with at a later date, For example - moved more than once and doesn't remember old address - yes it happens, a dob would help.
And on the other - it's a joint account, or family card - 'no it's just in her name'!
Or the parents naming the offspring all with the same initial and no middle names - 'Could I have your first name again please, the cards not in your name' 'Can you change it into mine?' 'No it's her card!'I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0

I'm not saying that I've got a solution to the problem, just that it's annoying. But how do 'they' know your is in agreement - with that? After, all they could provide info or a service in relation to her account that she is not happy with - she didn't give that permission. Besides, it could be said that if she wanted you to know - you'd have a joint account.
Our current accounts are all joint but our savings accounts are generally only in my wife's name (as my wife doesn't pay income tax).
Other things like phone contracts can't be in joint names, as far as I am aware...0

You can ask though for there to be a note put on the file for you to act on the persons behalf sometimes with a password then you can call all you like.
For example I deal with all OH's stuff as he is never at home (works 100 miles away only back every 2 months) So he has notified his bank, phone company, insurance company ect and I can deal with all his affairs.First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0

All this is an excuse to gather information about people and use it to their advantage in my opinion. They say it is to "protect me" what a laugh. This does not happen anywhere else...........just the U.K. as per usual.
