Credit transfer problem £7300 - pls help!

Hi all,

I have £7300 on a barclaycard credit card after some very bad decisions and need to transfer it to another credit card with 0% interest. I have tried the cards recommended on the site, like tesco but they are only offerring me a limit of £3300 balance transfers.

What should I do? Should I try and take out 2/3 credit cards and split it like that?

Applying for several credit cards so close together might set alarm bells ringing as it looks like desperation. Transfer what you can to one and work on reducing the balance of the barclaycard, then apply for another card in a few months to transfer the rest. Then try to reduce your debt before the 0% deals run out if you possibly can.

Transfer what you can. Even £3300 @ 0% will cut your interest by nearly half.

Then cut back on non-essentials and spend frugally until the debt's clear.
