i pod playlist help please

Hello

I have a new i pod shuffle (I have used one before without issue) There is are two switches, one that allows users to play music in shuffle mode and another to play in order of the playlist. I have synced the i pod shuffle to my playlist and all music has been loaded BUT when the switch is selected to play in playlist order it plays in shuffle mode. The shuffle switch works correctly and shuffles at it should. Sometimes it is nice to listen to music in order of my playlist. Am I doing something wrong? I thought it was a problem with the actual i pod but Apple kindly exchanged it for a new one today and the same issue applies so I think it is something I am not doing correctly. I hope someone has a simple solution for me - fingers crossed:)

Thanks but already followed advice on this link - sadly no result!

A very helpful guy on the apple forum has shed light on the problem which is now fixed - thank goodness:j If anyone else needs a simple explanation I'll be happy to pass the details on.

I would guess it's due to your file naming...? The Pod sorted them into an order other than the one you intended, and it seemed like a shuffle?
