C3 faulty fuel injector washer jet

Has anyone had this problem, and because it is a fault, got it fixed for free with Citroen dealer, we have made a complaint, any help would be appreciated.

You have washers on your fuel injectors to keep them clean?

Hi mattyprice4004, your right i do have another thread on here but i can't find it ..rolleyes.. I am useless, but i am really needing help on this one because i really can't afford to pay the amount of money they are asking me to pay.

sorry dripped on the fuel injector,

The problem described is a common one, pretty much unique to the C3. Water drips down and corrodes / shorts the injector.

No worries re the thread, just didn't want you forgetting and having lots of replies on the other one.

Put a shield over them and your sorted.

Hi forgotmyname, can this be done by a garage? right now we are waiting back from Citroen to see if we can get this fault repaired for free. I will let you know the outcome.

It can be done by you. Goto a breakers yard and say you want an engine cover
to fit your C3.

If its a decent one they will find something suitable.

You just need to trim it to fit and secure it.

Cost £5?

You could make one yourself out of almost anything, But at least a cover off another car will be made proper the proper heatproof material required.
