New tax credit claim

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has recently put in a joint new tax credits claim, if so how long did it take to process?

    I put in a single new claim and it took 2 weeks until money started gojng into my bank.

    When my friend changed to a joint claim it took a long time about 8 weeks, it was back dated, they are quicker when you are single.

    I haven't changed from single to joint, this is my first claim it just includes my partners details on as he lives with me. Does it take longer for a new joint claim then? x
