Prime Inventories, Savills Islington inventory clerk, found unreasonably expensive

Attention anyone who uses Savills in Islington, and perhaps others: if Prime Inventories is your inventory clerk, you will be overcharged. However, it is possible to have this charge lowered. They tried to foist a charge of £150 for checkout for my 2 bedroom flat. I was required to pay my checkout fees per my Tenancy Agreement. But £150 was way off market. I protested the fee through the Tenancy Dispute process and the £150 was reduced by 37% to £95.
I found that they were supremely unhelpful and generally were part of an effort (in collaboration with Savills) to try to extract as much money from me as a tenant as they could. While Savills and my landlord did manage to take more money than they deserved because the UK system is fundamentally rigged against tenants - incidentally, never rent the flat at 3 brayfield terrace, London - if it ever comes up, PM me and I'll elaborate about what a dump it is and the landlord's abrogation of her responsibilities - at least Prime Inventories did not get their full feel.
I strongly encourage anyone who is working with Prime Inventories to protest their charges. Maybe if they start getting a third of their fees whacked off repeatedly, they'll begin to understand that tenants can fight back.
I searched around and found 24 other inventory companies, including those used by Foxtons and Chestertons in Islington, and all were far lower-priced than Prime Inventories. If anyone's interested PM me and I can write back (or even post) my writeup to the adjudicator.
Along with 3 Brayfield, I strongly encourage everyone to avoid Savills, at least in Islington. They are bordering on criminal. And believe me, I have no sympathy for people that mess with apartments: I'm a landlord in New York. But if anyone treated a tenant of mine in the way that Savills Islington tried to treat me, I would fire them immediately. FARLA will also be hearing from me.
