E-Bay Ticket Refund

Hi All

My cousin sold his Creamfields ticket on E-Bay a couple of months back. The second day was cancelled due to the bad weather.

The buyer has been in touch with my cousin to say could he have the £60ish refund that Creamfields have issued to all ticket holders.

My cousin has ignored the bloke and said he can jog on as he's not going to give him the money. I personally think this is disgusting! Especially as when he brought tickets for the MJ gigs the seller gave him a full refund (£500).

Can the buyer do anything or will my cousin be able to keep the money?

I don't use E-Bay so I have no idea how it all works.

..of 3 threads I've read on this bard today, they are all about seller not behaving the way they should

I can't see what they can do, it's too late to get the money back through ebay (if tickets are covered now, not 100% certain).
I believe the only option would be small claims.

Disgusting behaviour, it's fraud in my opinion.

Thanks terra that's just how I feel about it as I said I was disgusted when I found out!

I hope the buyer does take him to small claims would serve him right for being dishonest

isn't it frustrating when someone you know does something you think is wrong but can't do anything about it?
I have friends like that, not big things, like using disabled car spaces, it really annoys me that they won't listen
