I don't have any stress because I know my claim is genuine.

But regarding ESA the DWP admin is appalling. Example after example appears on these boards... one person recently is even being hassled by the DWP about their ESA claim when they're not claiming ESA. Others are receiving letters that are clearly very important but do not actually tell you the important information they seem to have been set up to tell you... upon enquiry the DWP can't shed any light on the letter they sent. Many people get clear wrong advice or misinformation from agents who have virtually no experience or knowledge. I've been on ESA 3.5 years and I've only ever received a WCA decision in writing once.... and that was before I ever had one...lol...'it's okay... we've sent the letter to many people telling them they are fit for work but it's a computer failure'. They're a joke. Admin for DLA seems to be different class... appropriate letters sent at appropriate times... correct advice by the DWP agents.

How do you cope with the stress? Well... I find something to stress me out even more... like watching football.

Living with stress is just a skill to learn like any other.

The more people have to do in a day and the more stressful their day is. I have an extremely stressful day that I know many people couldn't cope with. The way I deal with it is telling myself that the world won't stop because I don't do something/am late/said the wrong thing etc... I also accept that life is about stress. Would a life deprived of any stress realistic? I won't even go into the theory of survival. I also accept that life is not about blaming and accusing. I get frustrated when someone is slow to understand or do something, but accept that it is me who has an issue with running a mad life, not the person who has plenty of time and wants to drive 40 miles an hour. I try to plan as much as I can do, but don't try not to put too much pressure on myself if I don't do things perfectly to plan. Importantly, I allow myself to let things die rather than rubbling on over and over them. I force myself (required some practice) to forget about any work matter the second I leave the office. Similarly, if someone has been rude to me, the moment I am removed from the situation, I make myself think of something else. Finally, I try to be active, eat healthily, don't drink, and make absolutely sure that I get enough sleep.
