Aluminium Seamless Gutters

There is a company in Yorkshire that install the above. Are they better than Upvc/wood. Has anybody installed them, if so what do you think?

I'm considering replacing my decayed wooden gutters but not to sure which one to go for. I've had a quote for a wooden, upvc and now an aluminium. The aluminium is cheaper but not sure wheter it will look nice.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I had aluminum put in my last home.
They looked great and were well worth the money.
I have since moved but pass my old house often they still look as good as new.

I've never seen wooden gutters so I presume you mean the facia.
We had uPVC facia and soffit with seamless aluminium gutters and in my opinion that combination can't be beaten.
    Go for it.
The only thing I would add is, don't get a cheap job done where they cover the existing wooden facia with uPVC. Have the wood taken down and totally replaced. It will only sweat under the uPVC in the summer and eventually rot and nails/screws will fall out before the lot comes down.

Thanks for your comments guys, there is a decent chance that i will look into aluminium gutters. I didn't think about soffits and facia board but will enquire about the price for them now.

    Thanks again.

Stone gutters are lined with lead cos stone is porous.
If they leak you replace the lead...........Expensive or what !!!!!!
