Prostitution and thievery strike me as rather tougher than sitting on a check out in Tesco, even if rather better paid!
So, by your definition, laying there and allowing someone to sh@g you means you must be able to work then? I've heard it all now :rotfl:
Must remind all disabled people not mention they ever have sex when being assessed for their disability payments otherwise they will be deemed fit for work hahaha :rotfl:“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Prostitutes are called street walkers for a reason.
Your limited view as to what having sex involves speaks very poorly for your sex life; perhaps you should buy a book on the subject?;)
(You also have no sense of humour whatsoever.)0 -

That's old school "street walkers"
Mostly visiting massage and parlours these days.
Doubling up as drug dealers dens too sometimes.
Wasn't there a report where one of these parlours advertised for staff and the job centre were sending off young women for interviews... - wonder what would happen if they refuse the jobs?
As for crime ... some of this legislation is inviting one crime which they're supposed to be trying to stop... fraud! Ironic.
Dropping someones income to £21 per week. Honestly.0 -
The way I'm organising/structuring our benefits from next week is:
Jobseekers Allowance into bank a/c which bills go put of, Santander 123 so we can get money back on bills.
LHA will go into a/c which will only be used for paying rent.
Child Tax Credits which are paid weekly and used for food, nappies and day to day things. Will transfer shortfall between what LHA will pay and actual rent to 'rent' a/c.
Child Benefit which is paid every 4 weeks will be transferred to savings a/c for clothes, shoes, birthday presents, Christmas presents and other treats.
Doing it this way to ensure that CTC & CB are spent on the girls or things they need. I know that JSA is meant to cover food but I've worked out thwt bills will take most if not all the JSA.0 -

Money is money.
Children can also suffer indirectly because of shortfalls in household expenditure.
The notion that CB/CTB should only be spent on the direct kids expenses is perhaps a useful guideline, but circumstances vary so much that it can be very inappropriate.
All expenses should be closely examined, including that on kids.0 -

Hmm yes, but then you could 'work' far less hours?
I'd rather have a really awful job for a few hours a week than a moderately awful one for 40+ hrs! (probs not prostitution or thievery though!)
I know it was a joke but I have sometimes wondered if that's what I'll end up doing, out of desperation. I can't actually sustain a normal working week due to the stuff in my head... so I'd have no option of a normal job (would get fired like so many other times).
Hoping it never comes to that though...0
