sofa covers?

Am in desperate need of new covers for my 3 seater, the one we have just now looks horrible and is starting to get holes in it:eek: we bought it second hand.

Did look for new sofa but dont have that much money just now, tried freecycle and tried local ads, no luck, nothing so was wondering what companies do sofa covers and how much do they cost?

a company called plumbs used to be big in suite covers. beware they aint cheap either.
prob buy a new sofa off ebay for about the same money.

diy chair covers might be the best answer.

yeah saw plumbs, quite pricey though, looks good though, not very good at making material stuff, would love to though not sure if im patient enough though:D the sofa itself is really comfy, its just the covers that are a huge letdown.

There's another company that are a lot cheaper if that's what you're after:

    http://www.covermyfurniture.com/

I haven't bought from them personally but someone I know said they were pretty good.

    Hope this helps...

Plumbs are extremely expensive. I had two sofas covered by them at a cost of £750+ and the covers started to fade after 6 months. They looked fabulous when they had just been fitted, but now I wish we hadn't bothered.
