Newport - Donating Xmas presents for Children

Hi All,

I am in Newport, South Wales and am aware that there are schemes that run each year where you can purchase a gift for underprivileged children.

The ones in previous years have usually had the set up where you are allocated a gender, age, budget and some ideas of gifts.

However, I can't seem to find anything for this year except internationally. I want to do this for local children - does anyone know of any organisations in the area?

Hi,

The Mayor does an appeal in Newport each year for toys etc for underprivilged children in the area. I haven't seen anything yet for this year but I know that our church contributes each year.

Might be something on the council website.
