Amex & uca?

Options
I received a letter on the 24th August explaining that AMEX were referring me to an external debt collection agency called "UCA".

I received an SMS this morning from 07537404573 who were claiming to be UCA, and advised me to call them on 01772765283.

I've looked up both numbers on whocallsme.com and found that the 075 number is related to various institutions contacting people for different reasons (scams etc.). However the 01772 number appears to be a creditor - one comment says that it is UCA - apparently part of AMEX.

Has anyone else experienced similar happenings? What was the result?

  • You'll need to arrange a payment plan with them of some sort. Or negotiate a full and final settlement, depending on your means and the state of your credit file.
