Changing bin amount - will fees be reduced?

Hi
I have just listed an item but want to reduce the bin price. I know how to do this but as it will take it down a listing price category, will I get the difference credited? (if you see what I mean?)
Thanks

i'm sure they used to give a credit but i don't think they do anymore0 -
No the fees don't get refunded as you still received the exposure at that price.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
No refunds. (Previously however when you dropped the price of a BIN the difference was refunded.)"Money is truthful. If a person speaks of their honour, make sure they pay in cash."0

Hi
Thanks for all your replies. It doesn't seem fair really. I decided within 5 minutes of listing that I had put a bit too high price on! Ebay's policy at the moment seems to be to screw every last penny from us!

Without trying to sound to harsh, its not really ebays fault.
But is it BIN only and/or what is the start price? The BIN fee is only 6p (I think) so the BIN will have no effect unless its BIN only.
The start price is the important figure.0 -
The listing fee was £1.75. If I drop it by a couple of pounds, I lose 75p.

I wasn't blaming ebay - I just think that this is something else they have changed - before I would have got the price difference back, now I don't.0 -
Hi Chucky
You're right. I will put it down to experience. I have been doing ebay for over 2 years now and sell a lot, but ebay seems to change things so often, you lose track of things. I normally sell on auction listings only at small prices - selling more expensive items a BIN is still fairly new.
