Another DRO question- stop paying creditors

I am just waiting on my Experian report to come back and will then send my info to cccs to apply for my DRO. I have a payment due to pay a creditor on the 10th which will not be the full amount asked for anyway.. shall i pay this as normal or cease payments once i have send all necessary documents off..?

I would stop all payments to all creditors now you have had advice. If you are doing a DRO it's because your surplus is lower than £50 a month, so you would be justified in not paying. Plus the sooner you have your £90 together the sooner you can complete your DRO0

I feel like a criminal not paying anything but know it will benefit me in the long term being able to pay my fee quicker0 -

I wouldn't.
For most creditors it won't make any difference. There won't be time for them to get a court judgement and enforce it.
But if bailiffs are already involved (e.g. with Council Tax arrears) then it becomes a challenge for them to see if they can get a valid levy on anything before the DRO is approved, if you give them advance notice.
Let it be a nice surprise for them.0 -
