Returntoearn.co.uk Any good or Scam?

Options
Hiya

After watching superscrimpers on channel four i decided to clear out my wardrobe and get paid for my unwanted clothes, the company webuyanyclothing was mentioned but unfortunately they do not collect in my area. have found one that does and they are called returntoearn.co.uk it looks pretty decent and they claim to pay 60p for every kg of decent clothing they receive, i just wondered if anyone had used this company and successfully received payment for their unwanted clothing?
Thanks:j

  • To be honest I've never heard of returntoearn, however based on feedback about clothing companies in general, their definition of decent clothing is stuff they can sell on, in which case you are likely to get a lot more than 60p per kilo flogging the stuff on Ebay (which is having a lot of free listing days right now). Frankly for 60p a kilo I'd probably just give the stuff away, but that's me.
  • Don't use them, I did,and I got ripped off. I sent a bag full of clothes, weighing nearly 12kg, they pay 60p per kilo so I reckoned on at least £6, depending on their scales, and allowing for the odd mistake.
    I got £2.34.
My bag was full of really good quality stuff. I'm not stupid, I knew what they would reject.
Anyway, I complained bitterly but they refused to up the payment OR return my clothes so
    DO NOT USE THEM.
EBAY, takes longer but you'll get more.
